Our in-house trainer, Tess Marty, has over a decade of professional animal behavior experience. She has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, concentrating in Animal Management. Tess has been a professional dog trainer for over 8 years.
Using force-free positive reinforcement, Tess works with all levels of training, from basic manners to behavioral issues. She specializes in adapting dogs to life in a city and reactivity.

Puppy Socials
The essential foundation
Lay the groundwork for a confident, well-adjusted dog with our one-hour Puppy Socials. Designed for puppies under six months old, these sessions are a crucial first step in your pup's development.
What’s Included?
✔ Guided Socialization: Your puppy will meet other dogs, people, and experience new sights and sounds in a monitored and controlled setting.
✔ Life Skills Workshop: Led by our professional trainer, we rotate activities to practice crucial skills, including handling, desensitization, appropriate greetings, and managing common puppy challenges like teething and housebreaking.
✔ Owner Education: You'll gain practical tools to navigate separation, build confidence, and ensure your puppy grows into a happy, well-mannered companion.
Board and Train packages
Confidence-Building, Not Boot Camp.
This is not a typical obedience "boot camp." Our Board and Train program is a positive-only experience, focused on building your dog's confidence and addressing the underlying emotions that drive behavioral problems. This holistic approach is key to ensuring that positive behaviors remain long after your dog is home.

✔ Truly Tailored Program: Upon arrival, our trainer performs an in-depth assessment to build a training plan perfectly aligned with your dog and your family’s lifestyle.
✔ Consistent Reinforcement: Training skills are shared with all Spot Dog Daycare staff, ensuring your dog receives consistent positive reinforcement throughout their entire stay—from morning play to night-time settling.
✔ Daily Dedicated Focus: Every day includes one-on-one time devoted entirely to skill-building.
✔ Seamless Transition Home: Upon pickup, you'll receive the training structure and follow-up support (including discounted private sessions) you need to maintain the progress and integrate their new skills at home.
